Hunt Kansas whitetails with Twisted Wind Outfitters on carefully managed private properties in Kansas Units 7 and 8.

Our guided deer hunts are built around year-round scouting and preparation. We use cellular trail cameras to monitor deer movement, identify patterns, and help place hunters in proven locations throughout the season.

What to Expect

Our properties are managed with the goal of keeping deer consistently using the ground throughout the season. We supplement with corn where legal and monitor activity closely leading up to each hunt.

Hunters will primarily hunt from elevated Banks Outdoors stump blinds, providing a comfortable, concealed setup with great visibility of the surrounding area.

Our guides stay involved throughout your hunt and are available to assist with locating and recovering your deer after a successful shot.

After the Harvest

Hunters are responsible for field dressing their deer and transporting it to a processor. We're happy to recommend trusted local processors in the area.

Kansas Deer Draw

Non-resident hunters must draw a Kansas whitetail permit before hunting.

Twisted Wind Outfitters primarily hunts Kansas Units 7 and 8. Non-resident applications are typically submitted during the Kansas deer draw application period in the spring.
