$5,000 | 5-Day Guided Hunt

Hunt New Mexico elk country with Wild Out Pro Guide Service across some of the state's most recognizable elk regions, including opportunities around Chama, the Gila, and Ruidoso.

The exact hunt changes with the unit and season. During the rut, hunters may spend their mornings locating vocal bulls and working into calling range. Later hunts can shift toward glassing, covering country, and locating elk around feeding, bedding, and migration areas.

Wild Out Pro's job is to help each hunter understand the unit, locate elk, and make the most of the limited days attached to a New Mexico tag.

Tag Information

Public-land elk tags are obtained through the New Mexico draw. Wild Out Pro can assist hunters with the application process.

New Mexico Big-Game Draw Application Process

1. Initial Contact

Contact Derek or Dalton Martin and let us know:

• The species you want to hunt
• Your preferred style of hunt
• Your goals for the trip

2. Consultation & Required Paperwork

After a consultation call, we will send you:

• Draw Contract
• Limited Power of Attorney

All hunters must have the required paperwork completed before Wild Out Pro can move forward with the application process.

3. Create a New Mexico Game & Fish Account

If you do not already have an account with New Mexico Game & Fish, you will need to create one before we can submit your application.

4. Complete & Return Your Documents

Complete and return your Draw Contract and Limited Power of Attorney to Wild Out Pro.

5. Application Service Fee

Once your completed documents are received, we will send you an invoice for the $50 application service fee.

6. Application Submission

Once your application fee has been paid and all required information has been received, Wild Out Pro will submit your application for the species and hunt opportunities discussed during your consultation.

Important: New Mexico requires applicants to front the applicable state license fees during the draw process.

If you are successful in the draw, the state keeps the applicable license fee.

If you are unsuccessful, applicable license fees for species not drawn will be refunded by the state.

2027 Application Deadline

The official 2027 New Mexico big-game draw deadline has not yet been announced. Wild Out Pro will provide clients with the official application deadline and any required information once the 2027 regulations are released.

We strongly recommend beginning the application process early rather than waiting until the final deadline.

7. Application Complete

Once your application has been submitted, no additional action is required until draw results are released.

8. Draw Results & Hunt Planning

Once results are posted, Wild Out Pro will contact you to begin planning your hunt.

If you are unsuccessful in the public-land draw, private-land hunting opportunities may still be available depending on current tags, properties, and availability.

9. Finalize Your Hunt

If you are successful in the public-land draw:

• A 50% deposit is required to officially book your hunt.
• Once your deposit is received, you will be added to the schedule and assigned a guide.
• The remaining 50% balance is due 30 days before your hunt start date.

10. Head to New Mexico

Once your hunt is booked, payments are scheduled, and all required paperwork is complete, it is time to prepare for your New Mexico hunting experience with Wild Out Pro.
