Eastern Colorado Mule Deer Hunts

Eastern Colorado Private-Land Mule Deer Hunt

Location: Joes, Colorado

Hunt Units: Colorado GMUs 101, 102, and 109

Target Species: Mule Deer Buck

Pursue an Eastern Plains mule deer buck with Eastern Colorado Outfitters across approximately 30,000 acres of private agricultural and pasture country.

The combination of corn, alfalfa, open pastureland, and expansive Eastern Colorado terrain creates a unique mule deer hunting environment. Hunters will work with their guide to locate deer and develop a strategy based on current movement, weather, crop conditions, and the locations of mature bucks.

Hunting approaches may include glassing agricultural fields, watching travel routes, setting up near productive feeding areas, or making a planned stalk when conditions allow.

The private-land nature of the operation allows Eastern Colorado Outfitters to control hunting pressure and carefully manage access throughout the season. These hunts are built for hunters who value quality private acreage, local knowledge, and the opportunity to pursue a mature mule deer in a classic Eastern Colorado setting.

Eastern Colorado Outfitters does not offer mule deer doe hunts.
