Most hunts take place from concealed pit blinds in agricultural fields, allowing hunters to remain hidden while geese finish over large, realistic decoy spreads.

Today, Western Waterfowl Outfitters manages over twenty exclusive properties throughout the area, giving hunters access to diverse habitats and consistently strong bird numbers throughout the season.
Hunts are conducted primarily in well-concealed pit blinds in dry agricultural fields, where massive decoy spreads and expert calling bring migrating birds directly into range. Each hunt is carefully scouted daily, and fields are rotated to manage pressure and keep birds returning to the area throughout the season.
