KANSAS DUCK AND GOOSE HUNT

November- large groups of small puddle ducks fill the potholes in our area. We hunt mostly with A frames on the edge of these small ponds to blend in and give a comfortable hunt. The species you will be hunting will be teal, gadwall, mallard, wigeon, pintail and the occasional diver.

December- Early December consists of many snow goose hunts and also dry field duck hunts. Towards the end of December as the snow geese leave the area you will be hunting Canadian geese mallards, pintail and wigeon. You will mainly be hunting out of layout blinds, layout chairs and A frames.

January- Some of the best dry field hunting comes in this time span. There is a split that gives the birds a rest and lets them get back to normal feeding schedules. Depending on weather these hunts may take place in either morning or evening.
