South Louisiana’s gulf coast marsh and bays are where Redfish live and where I have spent a lifetime chasing them. Climb aboard and let me take you on a short ride across Vermilion Bay to South Marsh Island where your adventure begins!
If you're looking for some of the Best Red Fishing in Louisiana, let me show you the waters of Vermilion bay and the endless banks and bayous of South Marsh Island. I supply everything you need for a successful trip, fishing for Redfish, Flounder and Speckled Trout, Black Drum and Sheepshead fishing year-round. The best fishing for Redfish in Louisiana is during the Spring and Fall season. Winter is when the Big Bull Reds and Giant Black Drum move in but, slot sized or “keeper” Red Drum are available year around. Late Spring, Summer and into Fall is best for slot size Red fish, Speckled Trout and Flounder fishing here when it’s common to “limit out” daily. When seasonal weather, tides or Moon phases dictate favorable conditions we can fish nearshore for Cobia, Tripletail and Kingfish.
