Season Dates : First Split Early Goose September 1 - 25 and November 9 - 24 and January 11 - 24.

Target Species: Canada Geese

Group Sizes: We require a minimum of 6, maximum of 10 to book a private group hunt. If a group 3 or less books without a private hunt they will be automatically placed with another group.

Deposit: GBU requires a 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit, to hold your dates. We'll confirm your dates once we receive your deposit. Your balance is due on or before September 1.

Cancellation: GBU offers a 100% refund up until 14 days before the scheduled hunt. Clients will have the ability to move their deposit to a new date with no penalties as long as it is 14 days before their scheduled hunt. Any cancellations in that period are non-refundable. However, in the event of a no-call, no-show, the client will forfeit their hunt and will be required to pay the full invoice. 

Nonhunters: GBU welcomes nonhunters and observers and allows them to experience waterfowl hunts. $85 per person and they will be prohibited to use a firearm and required to sign liability waivers upon booking.

Check-in 4am Arrival and hunts start at legal shooting light. This allows clients and GBU to have approximately 2 hours for set up and settling in. Late arrivals will be considered 30 minutes passed shooting light. 

Departure A successful hunt will be wrapped up by noon at the latest.

What to bring and rules:

• Federal waterfowl stamp
• Resident or non-resident 1-3-5-7 day special hunting license 
• New York State HIP certification 
• Bring your own gun & ammo (Equipment will be provided)
• Client’s Bird Dogs are prohibited 
• Appropriate clothing for weather, recommended dress in neutral greens, tans, browns, (white for snow geese), or camo. 
• Clients are not allowed to return to properties
• Clients are prohibited from taking photos with landmarks and must credit Goose Busters Unlimited. Any photos posted on social media must allocate they were with Goose Busters 
• Clients are required to keep firearms on safe until guides instruct the clients to do so otherwise
•  All hunters are required to follow New York State guidelines/Laws
• All hunters are required to use steel shot only
• Tube extension for early canada geese and conservation season
