Western sky outfitters was established in 2012 with the purchase of one of the longest running and most successful outfitting areas in southwest Colorado.  Since 2012 we have expanded to add many new permit areas as well as private land hunting opportunities.  We now have access to over 800 sq miles of national forest including 2 wilderness areas, 1,500 sq miles of blm land and over 50,000 acres of private land all in Colorado. We specialize in hunts for elk, trophy mule deer, black bear, mountain lion, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and antelope.  We also raise a herd of over 200 trophy class elk, and operate estate elk hunts on a 1,000 acre hunting preserve through our partner business elk quest.
