Wildfowl Magazine recently recognized the Great Lakes as an emerging hotspot for sea ducks. Join us for an action-packed adventure, where we adapt our location based on the best weather and shooting conditions. Hunt Eastern Lake Michigan, Saginaw Bay on Lake Huron, or Port Huron for your chance at a "stud" of a lifetime. Bring plenty of shells for these fast-flying sea ducks!

Lake St. Clair Diver Duck Hunt

Often referred to as the "Diver Duck Capital of the World" Lk St Clair hosts thousands of bufflehead, bluebill and redheads each fall. Add a diver duck hunt to your Longtail hunt for a true Michigan "combo hunt"!

Michigan Diver Hunt $500 per person

What's Included?

- Guided Michigan Diver Hunt

- Set up and pick up of Decoys, Layouts, etc

- Tender boat: 22' Great Lakes Duck Boat

- Layout boats: comfortable 2-man layout boats

- Minimum of 2 to book, 6 MAX

Season Dates: November 18th - December 8th, 2024

Target Species: Target a variety of diver ducks from our layout boats, including Bluebills, Canvasback, Redhead, Bufflehead, Goldeneye, and mallards.

Remote Duck Hunting in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula

Experience a remote duck hunting adventure like no other across the breathtaking Mackinac Bridge in St. Ignace, Michigan. The Upper Peninsula offers early migratory action with full plumage ducks, including trophy goldeneye and a wide variety of diver and sea ducks such as Bufflehead, Bluebill, Redhead, Goldeneye, White Wing Scoter, Longtail, and Hooded Mergansers. In addition to exceptional hunting, enjoy local delicacies like the legendary “UP Pasty” or fresh-caught Lake Michigan whitefish bites. Immerse yourself in nature, miles away from civilization, exactly where the ducks want to be.

What to bring:

- Proper duck hunting cold weather attire

- Waders OR Waterproof boots and bibs

- Waterproof jacket

- Warm layering; base layers, mid layers, outerwear

- Cold weather headgear, waterproof gloves, hand and toe warmers

- Ammunition (3" to 3-1/2", 2 shot or BB)(Must be NON-TOXIC)

- Firearm (12 gauge recommended, waterproof case)

- Michigan Duck License, Migratory Bird Permit, and Federal Duck Stamp
