Looking to cast a line in Texas City and Galveston on beautiful Galveston Bay? Get Tight Fishing Charters is here to make it happen! Your guide for the day is Captain Trenton, giving you access to years of Galveston Bay fishing experience.
The fish in these waters include Speckled Trout, Flounder, Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Pompano, Alligator Gar, Jack Crevalle, Bull Shark, Black tip shark, Bonnethead Shark, and more, depending on conditions.
You'll target your catch by spinning, popping corks and bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You'll be casting lines from a 26 skuta center console that holds up to 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is available, but it is good to know we can also throw artificial lures.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
