Duck and Goose hunting in Amarillo, Texas with Prairie Bomb Outfitters. Waterfowl hunting is a wonderful experience, and it does not get any better than coming out with Prairie Bomb Outfitters during the season. There are plenty of great duck and goose hunting opportunities throughout the state of Texas, but Amarillo is in a class all by itself. Hosting a wide variety of duck and geese species, the area allows us the ability to hunt with beginners, as well as the most seasoned hunter. With our land leases, we have access to tens of thousands of acres allowing us to hand-select the best fields for each and every hunt. This process ensures we are hitting the right spots on the right days where large flocks of ducks and geese are feeding. Like our motto says, all you have to do is, “Show up and hunt” and our guides will do the rest. We currently have a maximum of 12 hunters per trip, but feel free to contact us if you have a larger party. Book Now! Hunting clothes to bring

DRESS WARM! The Texas weather changes by the minute. Most mornings it can be anywhere from 20 degrees to 50 degrees, we recommend layers, insulated boots, bibs, wool socks, gloves and camo.

What to bring

Gun, Ammo, calls if you have them and are confident in your ability, water, and snacks. We ask that you limit what you bring into the blind for space and to keep everything covered. A blind bag and your gun is what you will need while we are in the field

Lodging

We do not currently offer lodging, however we have negotiated a local hotel for $80/Night for 2 beds and $70/Night for 1 bed. Hotel name: My Place 806-803-9501

Safety

Every hunter has been there and done that. It is our duty to continue to keep our clients, team, and partners safe at all times. We will require that every hunter, experienced or not, have the proper licensing, required education (if applicable) and state/federal stamps. We do a basic safety overview and evaluation prior to each hunt. If you are new to hunting, don't worry, we will ensure you are up to speed with safety prior to departure. Safety will never be compromised and we stress this with each hunter as we debrief prior to each outing. No Alcohol and/or illegal drugs of any kind are allowed on the hunt and/or in person or you will forfeit your costs to date.

Client dogs?

Yes. However, dogs must be steady enough to shoot. If dog breaks we will ask you to tether your dog and release them after the shot.

Payment and cancelation policy

To secure your hunting experience with Prairie Bomb Outfitters, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required upon booking hunt dates. The second payment, covering the remaining hunt cost, is due 2 days before the scheduled hunt. We understand that plans may change, and if you need to cancel, please do so at least 30 days before the scheduled start date to avoid the second payment. Cancellations within 30 days of the scheduled hunt will incur the responsibility for the second payment to account for the full cost of the hunt. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to providing you with an unforgettable hunting adventure.

Required licenses

To hunt with us you will need to purchase a Texas hunting license as well as a federal duck stamp, a Sandhill crane stamp and a migratory bird stamp.
