There's no better way than to experience the Lone Star State than to take part in a West Texas Thermal Hog Hunt! Join us at Caprock for a fully guided thermal hog hunts in fields of the Panhandle of Texas.
All hog hunts are ran at night, starting around dark and run about 6-7 hours. This is a spot and stalk type of hunt. Mobility is key Guns, ammo, suppressed, tripods, and thermal sites are provided in both price options. Unlimited pigs. Hunts are typically offered January till September/October each year (unless the crops are too tall to hunt in)
No license required to shoot hogs. No animal cleaning provided.
What to bring
Wear windproof, layers. It will be 20-35 degrees in the morning and will usually warm up to the mid 50’s during the day. Bring warm waterproof boots
Gratuity
While tipping is always optional, it’s a great way to show appreciation for your guide’s hard work and dedication.
If you feel your guide went above and beyond — helping you reach your goals, sharing knowledge, and creating a memorable experience — a tip of 15–20% of your trip total is a thoughtful way to say thank you. Deposit
All hunts require a 50% deposit to lock in your dates. The remainder is due 2 days prior to your hunt.
Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable, but can be moved to another date and we are willing to work with you to reschedule.
No shows or cancellations within 24 hours will not be refunded.
