Classic East Coast Bear Hunting

Lickstone Outfitters offers guided black bear hunts over bait in the rich coastal habitat of eastern North Carolina. These hunts provide hunters with a strategic and exciting opportunity to harvest a mature black bear while hunting from carefully scouted bait sites.

The coastal region of North Carolina holds some of the largest black bears in the United States, and the guides at Lickstone work year-round maintaining bait sites and monitoring bear activity to maximize success.

Hunters spend their evenings in strategically placed stands overlooking active bait sites, waiting for the right bear to present a shot opportunity.
