Hunting Dog Training Programs

Red Horizon Outfitter & Kennel specializes in waterfowl and retrieving-skill development for gun dogs, from young puppies to advanced hunting companions. Training plans are personalized to each dog’s strengths, weaknesses, age, and owner goals.

Programs cover socialization, obedience, retrieving, delivery, field exposure, marking, off-leash control, steadiness, blind retrieves, honoring, and advanced handling concepts. RHOK uses positive reinforcement techniques and encourages owners to visit, observe progress, and learn how to handle their dogs effectively.

Dogs train in Southeast Kansas with access to 22,000 acres, water, varied terrain, kennels with heating and cooling, daily exercise, and socialization.

Pups must meet age and health requirements. Training programs require a minimum 4-month commitment, and RHOK recommends starting as early as 4 months of age when appropriate.
