La Porteñita is situated on top of a hill with magnificent views and is nestled in a beautiful country setting within the confines of a working Argentine estancia, making for a unique hunting experience.
The lodge has been in operation since 1996 but was recently remodeled to meet our high standards of customer service. La Porteñita features six large bedrooms in the main house, along with a separate villa offering three additional double bedrooms with private baths.
A typical shooting day with H & H Outfitters begins after a sumptuous breakfast, with departure to the fields by 8 AM. The shooting fields at each lodge are carefully rotated and rested to ensure maximum bird numbers.
Driving distances to the fields range between 15 and 50 minutes in luxury 15-passenger vans equipped with air conditioning, refreshments, and two-way radios. Each client is paired with an experienced professional bird boy who provides shells, acts as a loader, retrieves downed birds, and keeps cool drinks ready.
Shooting continues until noon, when the group gathers in a shaded grove for a traditional Argentine asado (barbecue), complemented by salads, gourmet desserts, and exceptional wines. After lunch and an optional siesta, the shoot resumes until approximately 6 PM.
Upon returning to the lodge, guests can relax with drinks and hearty hors d’oeuvres while preparing for dinner.

The Lodge is within the confines of a working Argentine Estancia, making for a unique Hunting experience. A sophisticated setting await those who come for the shooting, yet enjoy 5 star lodging with gourmet meals, fine Argentine beef and wine.
The main house has six large bedrooms with en suite baths and a separate villa offers three additional bedrooms with private baths. The property's many porches, along with the large swimming pool and sunken fire pit lounge provide ample spaces to relax in or strike up a conversation.
