OAC Maine Moose Hunts

Maine boasts the largest moose population among the lower 48 states. Each year, the Maine Moose hunt takes place through a lottery system. Applications are accepted from February to May, and the permits are drawn in June.

At the Outdoor Adventure Company (OAC), we take pride in our achievements, including taking the state record Bull Moose with a bow. We are dedicated to joining you on a mission to pursue the largest member of the deer family. Our expertise lies in scouting and advanced calling skills, which are crucial in bringing that once-in-a-lifetime bull within your range. If you're seeking a hunting experience where you ride the roads and shoot from the hood, we may not be the right fit. Our focus is on providing a true hunting experience.

The OAC staff guides will work closely with you to position yourself for calling and harvesting your trophy moose. We understand the long wait for a permit, and we strive to make every moment worthwhile. Once you've successfully hunted your moose, we take responsibility for extracting the animal from the woods. Additionally, if desired, we can arrange for caping and butchering services for an additional fee. Our primary objective is to provide personal attention and individual accommodations throughout your journey. If you wish to have the hunt documented by a friend or family member, we are happy to accommodate that as well. Our ultimate goal is to ensure your quest is unforgettable.

To secure your spot, we recommend booking early and embracing the opportunity to "Live your own Adventure" in the beautiful state of Maine. **When booking please select the Monday of the week you are hunting twice.
