At GLGO, we have been guiding turkey hunters for twelve seasons and watched thousands of turkeys be successfully harvested. Our shot opportunity is 100% with a gobbler being within 30 yards positioned for an ethical shot. As this is a guided hunt, we do not guarantee you killing your turkey, only the opportunity. If you have an equipment malfunction or miss a bird in range, that is not the fault of your guide. We operate in mid April and all of May and the first week of June in Michigan's lower peninsula. We typically book turkey hunters in groups of two to eight hunters in three day increments throughout the season and can accommodate up to 8 hunters in camp at a time very comfortably. We are currently a one bird state and we guarantee your satisfaction from start to finish with a turkey hunting experience you won’t soon forget.

About the packages:

North Camp This package is the all inclusive, premium hunting experience, with meals prepared by an executive chef, and three days of fully guided hunts. Groups of two to eight are preferred but singles can be accommodated as well. Parent/child (under 18) packages available, ask for details. Central Camp This package includes three days of fully guided turkey hunting, meals and lodging are not provided. We can provide a guided hunt or offer a self guided experience as well. West Camp This package includes three days of fully guided turkey hunting, meals and lodging are not provided. Fresh properties and birds are available to provide the best possible chance to harvest a turkey. South Camp This package includes three days of self-guided hunting, meals and lodging not included.

Check-in: At North Camp, check in is the afternoon prior to your hunt's start date between 3-5 PM. At West, Central and South camp, check in is the afternoon prior to your hunt's start date. Your camp manager or guide will prepare an itinerary with specific time and location from there so that you may be best prepared for your hunt.

- A 50% deposit secures your trip date and guide. Your date is NOT reserved until your deposit has been received

- GLGO reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any trip due to adverse weather or conditions, we do not cancel for rainy days.

- Rescheduling must occur no less than 30 days prior to your hunt or you will lose your deposit and the remaining balance will be charged.

- Must bring valid Michigan Base hunting License 

What to bring:

- Valid Michigan Base hunting License ($151/Non-resident, $11/MI resident) and proper turkey license ($15) for your correct season and unit.

- Shotgun and appropriate ammunition. (We recommend Boss Shotshells BOSS Tom.) Please be sure to pattern your shotgun, choke and ammunition combination prior to your arrival. This is crucial for an ethical harvest!

- Camo Gear, face mask, gloves, and hat

- Rain gear and muck/hunting boots
