Fall Pheasant Hunts Listing (September–December)

Join us for South Dakota’s world-famous pheasant opener or chase birds through the late season.

Fall is prime time at Wings of Thunder. From the early season excitement to cold-weather late season pushes, our hunts promise high action and unbeatable hospitality. Birds are strong and smart—making each flush as thrilling as the first.

What’s Included:

• 3 birds/day & processing (extra birds: $45 each + $3.50 processing)
• Professional guides & dogs
• Field transportation & kennels
• Daily meals and snacks
• Full access to lodge amenities: rec room, pool table, smoking lounge, bar, big screen TV, and more

Fall Hunt Pricing (Sept–Dec):

10% gratuity added to groups of 5 or less

• 1 Day Hunt (no lodging): $700
• 1 Day Hunt + 1 Night Lodging: $850
• 2 Day Hunt + 2 Nights Lodging: $1,875
• 3 Day Hunt + 3 Nights Lodging: $2,800
• 4 Day Hunt + 4 Nights Lodging: $3,725

Youth Fall Pricing (Ages 16 & Under):

• 1 Day Hunt (no lodging): $400
• 1 Day Hunt + 1 Night Lodging: $450
• 2 Day Hunt + 2 Nights Lodging: $900
• 3 Day Hunt + 3 Nights Lodging: $1,350
• 4 Day Hunt + 4 Nights Lodging: $1,800

Add-ons:

• Non-shooting guests (lodging + meals): $150/night
• Upgrade to Private Room: $125/night

50% deposit required to book | Deposits are non-refundable and cannot be applied to balance if group size decreases

What to Bring:

• Hunting clothing and apparel that is blaze orange.
• Several layers of clothing – fall weather varies.
• Shooting gloves and eye protection.
• Hunting boots that are comfortable and broken in.
• Bringing your dog is optional and not necessary. However if you do, bring all necessary supplies for your dogs that will be joining the hunt.
• Camera and/or video equipment.
