Fully guided regular season duck hunt in Colorado. These hunts will take place on private water leases and are hunted from floating or permanent blinds, but may alternatively be hunted from layout or panel blinds. Our water leases are in premier locations and well managed with limited hunting pressure. All hunts are pre-scouted the day before the hunt to provide optimal success. Duck hunts will be half day hunts ending by 11:00 AM.

Target species are Mallard, Wigeon, Gadwall, Pintail, Teal, Ringneck, Redhead, Canvasback, Shoveler, and Ruddy Duck and may potentially include Canada Geese. Dogs may be welcome with prior approval. If you are hoping to bring a dog on your hunt please contact MLH management to obtain approval prior to booking your hunt.

Season Dates: OCT 5 - DEC 1, DEC 17 - JAN 31

Bag Limit: 6 birds per person

Exclusivity: Groups smaller than 4 hunters will be subject to having MLH members join their hunts.

Here's a checklist of items clients should bring on a waterfowl hunt:

- Shotgun: Ensure it's properly cleaned and maintained.

- Ammunition: Bring an adequate supply of shells suitable for waterfowl hunting.

- Camouflage Clothing: Dress in layers appropriate for the weather conditions.

- Waders or Waterproof Boots: Essential for navigating wet and marshy terrain.

- Backpack or Blind Bag: Carry essentials such as snacks, water, extra ammunition, and other personal items.

- Hunting License and Duck Stamp: Ensure you have all required permits and stamps.

- Safety Equipment: Ear and eye protection recommended.

- Weather Gear: Pack rain gear, gloves, and a hat to stay comfortable in changing weather conditions.

- Snacks and Water: Stay hydrated and fueled throughout the hunt.

*All guided hunts are non-refundable within 72 hours. If the purchaser wishes to reschedule, they will be charged a $100 rescheduling fee in order to make sure the guides are covered for their work.

**Groups of 3 hunters or less are subject to MLH members or additional bookings added to the hunt; groups of 4 or more hunters have exclusivity to the hunt.
