Our lodge sits on 30 acres, just 4 miles south of Gueydan. We can comfortably accommodate up to 26 guests in clean, well-maintained bedrooms. You’ll also enjoy two fish ponds, a pool table, a bar, and plenty of space for outdoor activities during your stay.

Rules
Bag and possession limits
- Daily Bag: 6 Ducks, 5 Geese (Canada Geese, Cackling Geese) and 50 Snow Geese
*Not more than 5 may be Mallards, and not more than 2 hens
- Possession: 18 Ducks, 15 Geese, No limit on Snow Geese
Required licenses
- LA RES Basic Hunt
- Federal Duck Stamp
- RES Waterfowl Season HIP Certification (May vary by state)
Dogs
Dogs are welcomed at Sportsman Charters, although clients will maintain responsibility of their dog both during and after the hunt. Outdoor kennels are available upon request.

About the lodge: Sportsman Charters sits on 30 acres approximately 4 miles south of the town of Gueydan. Our lodge can accommodate up to 26 guests comfortably, includes two fish ponds, pool table, bar, and plenty of space for outdoor activities. Our cleaning staff works hard to maintain clean and comfortable bedrooms for our guests.
Meals: We serve a variety of unique dishes that will knock your socks off. We also enjoy serving our guest sweet treats, so be sure to bring your sweet tooth!
