-The LOUISIANA SNAPPER PACKAGE is the perfect opportunity for those who are ready to get out of the bays and marshes and feel the brute strength of some truly strong fish. Between the Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper (when in season), and Cobia you are bound to have an excellent experience.

-The prime time for snapper fishing is from May-September, but mangrove snapper and cobia can still be found year round.

-Snapper trips leave Bridge Side Marina at sunrise and returns at approximately 2:00pm where your catch will be filleted and bagged for you to take home and enjoy.

In order to fish the waterways of Louisiana you must first purchase a Louisiana Fishing License. By clicking on the link below you can select to purchase a license based on your specific needs. 

License options include:

- Charter passenger (3 day) $10 residents/nonresidents (Valid to fish from a charter vessel in saltwater areas of the state, with a licensed guide on board at all times. This license is in lieu of Basic and Saltwater fishing licenses and is valid for three consecutive days. You must provide the charter guide’s license number or mothership license when you purchase a Charter Passenger License.)

- Saltwater (Basic Fishing License also required) $13 for residents and $30 for nonresidents

- Basic Fishing License $9.50 for residents and $60 for non-residents

Annual recreational fishing licenses are valid from the date of purchase and expire on June 30 each year. If you purchase a license on June 1, when they go on sale each year, they expire on June 30 the following year.

You are not required to have Basic or Saltwater Fishing licenses if you are:

• A resident or nonresident under age 16 (i.e., age 15 and under)
• A resident born before June 1, 1940, who has lived in Louisiana for 6 months.
