*Gratuities:Tips for your guides and crew have long been a tradition since the beginning of the industry. Typically, 10-15% of the hunt cost is standard and spread out among those who went out of their way and worked extra hard to make your hunt special and enjoyable. Please bring cash if you plan on tipping.

Closest Airport
The closest airport is Abilene Regional Airport which is about 77 miles away or 1 hour and 10 mins driving. If customers are flying in from out of state it may be easier and faster to fly in to DFW International Airport and rent a car to drive from there (3 ½ hour drive).
What to bring:
- Shotgun (12 or 20 gauge recommended),
- Ammunition – 3” or 3.5” nontoxic shot in sizes 5, 4, 3, 2, or BB (We suggest 2 or BB.),
- Camo outer layer,
- Warm underlayers strongly recommended,
- Gloves (leather and warm),
- Hunter orange hat and or vest if you plan to upland hunt,
- Hunting boots – Warm and waterproof recommended,
- Eye protection – Sunglasses or shooting glasses recommended,
- Ear protection,
- Raingear or waterproof outer shell recommended,
- Waders (Needed for duck hunts),
- Toiletries, prescriptions, and other personal items,
- Camera.
Rules
- No Minimum to book weekends minimum of 10 to book a weekday,
- Hunts are all finished when limits are reached, or the sun goes down.
Required Deposit
DTO requires a 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit, to hold your dates. We’ll confirm your dates once we receive your deposit.
