About this trip

Experience Alaska’s spring black bear season on the remote Kenai Peninsula with Swoboda Charters’ non-guided big game transporting. The 48-foot M/V Allen Ray serves as your remote floating lodge, giving your group the comfort of staterooms, full bathrooms, and a full galley while operating in some of Alaska’s most secluded country.

Each day starts with a hot breakfast before you head out by skiff to hunt mountainous terrain—glassing, stalking, and working travel corridors, feeding areas, and watering holes. After the day’s hunt, return to the Allen Ray for dinner, butchering, and relaxing in camp. When time allows, anglers can also enjoy fishing opportunities for premier local species.
