Salty Johnson offers offshore fishing for Cobia, Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Amberjack, Grouper, Tripletail, and Mahi Mahi out of Hackberry/ Lake Charles, Louisiana from May -September each year. All offshore trips are private charter up to 6 people in your group with all rods, reels, bait and tackle and fish cleaning provided.

What to bring:
To ensure you have an enjoyable offshore fishing experience, please bring ice chests and ziplocks to bring your catch home. Soft bag coolers are permitted on the boat so you can enjoy all of your drinks, snacks and food. Please refrain from bringing spray sunscreen. We encourage rub on sunscreen due to boat maintenance and environmental issues.

Tip
Standard tip is 20% of trip fee.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Deposits are Non-Refundable Safety is the top priority. Captains monitor conditions closely and will notify guests 2–3 days in advance if a trip must be rescheduled. If a charter is rescheduled due to weather, all payments transfer to the new date. Refunds are not issued. If a client cancels or reschedules :30+ days before trip: Deposit is fully transferable and valid for up to 365 days Less than 30 days before trip: 25 percent of total trip cost charged Less than 7 days before trip: 100 percent of total trip cost charged
