Montana Rifle Antelope Hunt
Up to 6 Guests
About
Our antelope hunts take place in the beautiful rolling hills and expansive flatlands north of Big Timber, MT. To participate in these hunts, hunters must draw a special permit for area 576-20.
The antelope population in our area is robust, and it’s not uncommon to spot 50 to 200 head in a single day. Hunters can expect to harvest bucks that typically measure between 13 to 15 inches, with the possibility of encountering larger trophies. These hunts generally provide a remarkable 100% shot opportunity.
On a typical day, we start our adventure after breakfast, setting out to glass the vast landscape until we locate a harvestable buck. The stalk can be an exhilarating experience, often requiring us to crawl on our hands and knees in pursuit of your trophy. If you’re seeking a challenging yet affordable hunting experience, our antelope hunts are the perfect choice! Join us for an unforgettable adventure in Montana’s stunning terrain.

Cayuse Hills Outfitters is owned and operated by Wes and Lydia Sargent. Wes began guiding hunters in 2010 while working for Lydia's family's outfitting business in Gardiner, Montana. After their marriage and a move to Wes's family ranch, they decided to establish their own outfitting business, Cayuse Hills Outfitters.
Located 20 miles south of Shawmut, MT, Cayuse Hills Outfitters operates out of the Sargent Ranch, which has been in the Sargent family since 1919. Wes and Lydia's sons represent the sixth generation to grow up on the ranch.
Both Wes and Lydia are passionate outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate and respect the wildlife they hunt. They employ only the best guides who share their commitment to the outdoor industry.
