At Southwest Prairie Outfitters, we’ve built a waterfowl experience that’s second to none. Hunting from our centrally located 770-acre ranch and surrounding leases, you’ll chase hard-working mallards and Canada geese, with bonus action on wigeon, teal, gadwall, and the occasional pintail depending on the migration.
A typical day may find you tucked into an A-frame or layout blinds in agricultural fields, or hunting one of the many sloughs and ponds on the ranch from well-placed blinds. Our guides scout daily throughout the season and build a hunt plan each evening so you’re always where the birds want to be at first light.

Located in the Nebraska, we have a diverse number of species of wild game that we pursue in our region. We hunt whitetail & mule deer, waterfowl, turkeys, wild pheasant and quail as well as predators such as bobcat and coyotes.
We are committed to creating a memorable experience for each of our clients.
Our lodge is centrally located on an approximate 800 acre ranch with a number of amenities. You can enjoy the scenery in the mornings and evenings from the patio and watch deer, waterfowl and listen to the pheasant cackling as the sun sets. It's truly an amazing place to take in.
We believe in being stewards of the land and put into the habitat more than what we take and that has led to a rewarding and successful hunting and experiences year after year.
