About this trip

Hunt one of the great waterfowl destinations in the country with Texas Coast Duck Hunts out of Port Mansfield, Texas. The lower Laguna Madre and surrounding South Texas marshes winter huge numbers of ducks, including redheads, pintails, wigeon, gadwall, scaup, teal, mottled ducks, shovelers, canvasbacks, and occasional snow geese.

Trips are guided by a small family outfitter that stays mobile with airboat transportation and sets hunting blinds according to daily bird movement. This approach gives hunters access to shallow bays, sloughs, and marshes where the birds want to be while helping keep each hunt fresh and productive.

All trips include lodging the night before the hunt and brunch after the hunt, with flexible trip lengths commonly ranging from three to five days. Captain Jessica can guide all-ladies hunts.
