Southwest Prairie Outfitters offers premium dog training grounds ideal for gundog work and field-trial conditioning. With fields, cover types, and ponds designed to simulate real hunting scenarios, this is an excellent setup for both professional trainers and serious dog owners.
Handlers use the ranch’s fields, upland cover, and ponds to build everything from beginner obedience and intro-to-birds all the way to advanced blind retrieves and complex marks. Outdoor kennels and access to the lodge make it easy to stay on site and train for several days.

Located in the Nebraska, we have a diverse number of species of wild game that we pursue in our region. We hunt whitetail & mule deer, waterfowl, turkeys, wild pheasant and quail as well as predators such as bobcat and coyotes.
We are committed to creating a memorable experience for each of our clients.
Our lodge is centrally located on an approximate 800 acre ranch with a number of amenities. You can enjoy the scenery in the mornings and evenings from the patio and watch deer, waterfowl and listen to the pheasant cackling as the sun sets. It's truly an amazing place to take in.
We believe in being stewards of the land and put into the habitat more than what we take and that has led to a rewarding and successful hunting and experiences year after year.
