Plaska Lodge’s two game preserves span nearly 2,000 acres and offer two exciting, distinctly unique hunting opportunities. One features rugged canyon country, where two major canyons converge with dozens of twisting side canyons. The other is an island of diverse habitat bordered by two rivers, with everything from salt grass prairies and mesquite flats to hardwood timber and cactus-covered sand dunes.

These are true spot-and-stalk hunts for outdoorsmen who appreciate the challenging pursuit of world-class exotic trophies. We don’t drive around in pickups looking for easy shots or sit over bait piles in overstocked, poorly managed areas. Our herds are carefully managed to grow record-book-quality trophies in natural, self-sufficient environments. This is not a zoo, and it’s far from a canned hunt. The trophies we pursue are wild, sharp-eyed, and unforgiving; a true test of skill and perseverance.

Our exotic hunts are sold as all-inclusive packages to ensure that every client has everything that they need for a comfortable and successful hunt.

Hunts are sold as all-inclusive packages, however we would be happy to help customize your package to fit your desires.

A $2,000 deposit is required to reserve your hunt. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your hunt. If the hunt is unsuccessful, no additional fees will be charged—only the cost of any extra days or guest fees will apply.

If you harvest multiple trophies, you will receive a $1,000 discount on each additional trophy.

Additional days can be added for $750 per day.

Additional non-hunting guest are welcome for $250 per day.

Hunt Rules & Lodge Guidelines

To ensure a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone at Plaska Lodge, please review the following rules and expectations:

Firearm Safety:

No loaded firearms are allowed inside the lodge or vehicles at any time. Always handle your firearm with care—keep it pointed in a safe direction, be mindful of your surroundings, and know what’s beyond your target.

Alcohol & Substance Policy:

Alcohol and prohibited substances are not allowed before or during any hunting activity. This includes any drug or substance made illegal under Texas law. Safety in the field is our top priority.

Licensing:

All hunters must have a valid and up-to-date Texas hunting license.

Lodge Etiquette:

• No smoking or pets are allowed in the lodge.
• Please bring a pair of indoor shoes, as hunting boots are not permitted inside.

Accommodations:

Private bedrooms are provided, along with fresh linens and towels. Complimentary coffee, tea, milk, and juice will be available. You’re welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages to enjoy after hunting hours.
