All-Inclusive Spot and Stalk Exotic Hunts
Up to 4 Guests
About
Plaska Lodge offers true spot-and-stalk exotic hunts across two game preserves totaling nearly 2,000 acres in the Texas Panhandle. Each preserve provides a distinctly different hunting experience, from rugged canyon country with steep breaks and winding draws to river-bottom habitat featuring mesquite flats, native grass prairies, hardwood timber, and sand dunes.
These hunts are designed for hunters who value fair-chase conditions and challenging stalks. Our exotic herds are managed in large, natural environments and are not overstocked or conditioned to bait. This is not a drive-and-shoot operation or a canned hunt. Shots are earned through patience, strategy, and careful execution, and every animal is hunted on its feet in real terrain.
All exotic hunts at Plaska Lodge are conducted on a no kill, no pay basis, guaranteed.
We offer flexible hunt options to fit different schedules and preferences.

Plaska Lodge is proud to have been welcoming hunters for over 30 years and managing wildlife with care and intention for more than four decades. Located in the southeastern corner of the Texas Panhandle, we operate on over 10,000 acres of intensely managed land. Located just four hours from the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and only an hour and a half from Amarillo, our ranch offers easy access to some of the most unique hunting experiences in Texas.
Situated just off the Llano Estacado caprock, our region serves as the meeting point of eastern and western U.S. wildlife species. The terrain here is incredibly diverse, with each of our ranches offering its own unique advantages and challenges. From rugged canyon country and mesquite flats to winding river bottoms, cultivated farmland, and prickly pear-covered sandhills—Plaska Lodge truly has it all.
We offer fully customizable, all-inclusive hunting packages for six species of free-range native game, as well as more than fifteen species of exotic game on our two game preserves. Whether you're a first-time hunter eager to learn or a seasoned sportsman in search of your next adventure, we tailor every experience to meet your needs.
Plaska Lodge is built in the heart of the ghost town of Plaska, Texas. We’ve carefully restored and repurposed the 100+ year-old general store into a warm, inviting lodge that sleeps up to 12 guests. The lodge features six private bedrooms and two bunk-style rooms, combining modern comfort with rustic charm.
Heated entirely by wood stoves, the lodge offers the unmistakable scent of woodsmoke and the soothing crackle of a fire—welcoming you back from the field with warmth and character. Enjoy legendary Texas hospitality, home-cooked meals, and the peace and quiet of the country on our scenic and remote properties. At Plaska Lodge, we don’t just offer world-class hunting—we offer a place to slow down, reconnect, and make lasting memories, both in the field and back at the lodge.
