About Mad Duck Outfitters
About Mad Duck Outfitters
Mad Duck Outfitters is a premier, weekend-only waterfowl hunting experience located in the heart of the Texas Panhandle near Plainview. Founded by Major League Baseball pitcher Chris Paddack, Mad Duck blends a deep passion for the outdoors with the camaraderie, discipline, and energy of professional sports.
We specialize in private-group hunts targeting ducks, lesser Canada geese, and sandhill cranes—guided by seasoned locals who prioritize putting you on birds and showing you a great time. But Mad Duck is more than just a hunt—it’s a lifestyle. From chef-prepared meals and lodge bonfires to exclusive merch and good conversation, every weekend is built to feel like a celebration of the outdoors.
With access to top-tier properties through our connections in the ag community, a dedicated guide team, and all-inclusive hospitality, we’re here to deliver a first-class hunting experience unlike any other. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or just looking to enjoy an unforgettable weekend with friends, Mad Duck Outfitters brings the heat—on and off the field.
