Northern Skies Outfitting

Northern Skies Outfitting is a big game and waterfowl hunting operation based in La Crete, Alberta, Canada’s northern farming country. Surrounded by thousands of acres of farmland, boreal forest, and the nearby Peace River, the outfit is positioned in prime habitat for both black bears and migrating waterfowl.

Founded in 2024 by experienced guides Rodney and Curtis Friesen, Northern Skies builds on more than a decade of guiding experience and a strong connection to the former Wingmaster Outfitting operation. Guests can expect hard-working guides, consistent scouting, strong calling, and a genuine commitment to delivering memorable hunts.

Their signature experience combines fast-paced morning waterfowl shoots with afternoon spot-and-stalk black bear hunting, creating a unique Alberta adventure with action, camaraderie, and excellent success potential.
