Pope Brothers Guide Service and Outfitting (PBGSO) is a family-run Texas outfitting operation led by Clay and Holly Pope, built on decades of hands-on experience and a reputation for honesty and hard work. With more than 60 years of combined industry experience across the team, PBGSO delivers premium guided hunting experiences for native and exotic game across the Lone Star State, with a strong emphasis on Hill Country opportunities within easy reach of the San Antonio airport.
From spot-and-stalk and safari-style outings to blind hunts and corporate events, PBGSO offers flexible options for individuals and groups. Many trips can be structured all-inclusive with comfortable lodging, meals, transportation, and game care, and clients may also take advantage of the team’s in-house taxidermy operation, A2Z Taxidermy, for a seamless end-to-end experience.

Home Base Lodge (Junction, Texas)
Sleeps 10PBGSO’s primary Hill Country base is a 5-bedroom, 2-bath lodge located on the second story above A2Z Taxidermy in Junction, Texas. It features a large kitchen and dining area, a spacious living room with a pool table, and is located a few blocks from the Llano River. Barbecue pit and fire ring are available behind the taxidermy shop near the skinning area. Note: access is via stairs; alternate more handicap-friendly houses may be used when needed.
