Prairie Outfitters LLC

Prairie Outfitters LLC is a small, locally owned outfitter focused on delivering straightforward, well-run hunts and fishing trips in the heart of central South Dakota. From our home base (Pierre, sd United States), we coordinate fully guided experiences in a true sportsman’s paradise—wide-open prairie, classic bird country, and legendary walleye water.

We offer big game opportunities for mule deer and whitetail, along with premier upland hunts for pheasant. Our specialty is prairie grouse, including one of the few places where you can pursue prairie chickens over well-trained bird dogs for a traditional, high-skill upland experience.

• Guided big game: mule deer and whitetail
• Upland bird hunts: pheasant and prairie grouse (prairie chickens over bird dogs)
• Lake Oahe walleye fishing on the beautiful banks of one of the nation’s top fisheries
• Flexible packages tailored to your group size, season, and trip goals
