Tail Inn offers saltwater fly fishing on the pristine flats of Espiritu Santo Bay, while anglers enjoy a comfortable lodging experience and exquisite local dining. Our guide team will help anglers target permit, bonefish, tarpon, snook, barracuda and snapper to name a few.

For those of you new to the southern Yucatan, Tail Inn is nestled in the quaint and remote lobster fishing village of Punta Herrero. The last stop for any necessities is in the tourist village of Mahahual, before entering the southern entrance of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere and finally Punta Herrero the entrance to Espiritu Santo Bay.

The lodge is operated by Saul one of the founders of the lobster coop in the early 80's, his lovely wife Noemi and their children. They partnered with Evan an expat and avid angler residing in Mahahual since 2005. Once the three became friends the Tail Inn was created for those with a sense of adventure and local flair. We await those that seek good times and greater fishing!
