Located in Walhonding, Ohio, Walhonding Woods offers hunters the opportunity to pursue trophy-class game while enjoying the comfort of a fully outfitted hunting destination.
Our 300-acre preserve combines woods, open ground, food plots, and water to create a diverse hunting environment. Hunters can pursue trophy whitetail deer, fallow deer, elk, and other available game, with both preserve and nearby free-range hunting opportunities available.

Salty's Seaside Retreat
Sleeps 6Located directly on Monroe Canal in St. James City, Florida, Salty's Seaside Retreat is a comfortable waterfront home built for anglers, families, and groups looking to enjoy everything Pine Island and the surrounding waters have to offer. With direct boat access to San Carlos Bay and nearby fishing grounds, it's an ideal home base for a Southwest Florida fishing trip. The home accommodates up to 6 guests with 3 bedrooms, 4 beds, and 2.5 bathrooms. Sleeping arrangements include two king beds and two twin beds, giving groups plenty of flexibility. Inside, guests will find a full kitchen, comfortable living spaces, Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, and everything needed to settle in after a long day on the water. Built for Days on the Water One of the biggest advantages of Salty's Seaside Retreat is the waterfront setup. The property sits on a 120-foot double lot along Monroe Canal and features plenty of dock space along with two boat lifts rated at 10,000 and 7,500 pounds. Guests can keep their boat right at the property and cruise through Monroe Canal toward San Carlos Bay for a day of fishing and exploring. There's also plenty of private parking and room to accommodate a boat trailer. When the fishing is done, come back and cool off in the screened-in pool, which can be heated or cooled for added comfort. The pool sits just off the back lanai, creating a great outdoor space for relaxing with the group. Fire up the grill, cook the day's fresh catch, and enjoy an evening at the house before heading back out the next morning.
The Lodge
Sleeps 30A 4,500 sq. ft. lodge with luxury dining, a massive great room, granite countertops, handcrafted cabinets, stainless designer appliances, a walk-in pantry, River Rock fireplace, upstairs owner’s ensuite, additional kitchen, great room, three bedrooms, and a full hall bath. The Lodge sleeps up to 30 people for special events.
Waterman Lodge
Sleeps 6Waterman Lodge offers a comfortable, waterfront place to unwind after a full day on the water. With a private dock right outside the door and a relaxed coastal atmosphere throughout, the lodge is designed to give guests the convenience of staying close to the action without sacrificing the comforts of home. Inside, the lodge features a recently updated interior with an open living and dining area, a full kitchen with modern appliances, comfortable seating, TVs, ceiling fans, and air conditioning. The kitchen provides plenty of space for preparing meals, while the dining area makes it easy for everyone to gather together at the end of the day. The bedrooms provide comfortable accommodations for a good night's rest, and the updated bathroom features a spacious walk-in tiled shower. Coastal décor and fishing-inspired touches throughout the lodge give the property a laid-back feel that fits perfectly with its waterfront setting. One of the highlights of Waterman Lodge is the covered outdoor deck overlooking the water. Guests can relax outside in the evening, enjoy a drink, cook on the grill, or simply take in the view. The private dock provides direct water access and convenient space for boats, making the lodge especially well suited for anglers and groups spending their days fishing.
