- Snobears are specialized, heated all-terrain vehicles—essentially mobile cabins on tracks—designed for ice fishing comfort and mobility.
- Inside, you'll fish in a cozy, climate-controlled environment (often around 70°F), with the ability to move to different fishing spots at the flip of a switch—no more waiting for fish to come to you
- Every trip is fully guided, complete with an experienced local guide to navigate the ice and increase your chances of success!
- All the essential gear is provided: fishing rods, bait, tackle, sonar technology such as Vexilar and Livescope, electronic fish finders, and augers.
Fishing Day Itinerary:
- Meet at landing—Pack your cold weather gear and hop into the waiting and warm Snobear.
- Begin guided fishing—move to “where the fish are,” drill holes from inside, and employ high-tech sonar to find your target.
- Keep warm and fish comfortably—enjoy the heated cabin as you drop lines for walleye, perch, pike, or white bass.
- Move locations as needed—your guide will reposition the Snobear to chase fishing activity.
- Lunch on the ice—eat your own food inside the Snobear or at designated spots.
- Return and wrap up—once done, the guide may photograph, clean, and package your catch; then you head home or back to your lodging.
Rules
A SnoBear is a mobile, heated vehicle designed specifically for ice fishing. It allows you to comfortably move across frozen lakes and stay on the fish, regardless of weather—you can fish in winter temperatures in a warm cabin-like environment.
These guided trips typically supply everything you need: rods, bait, tackle, sonar (like Vexilar or Livescope), and expert local guides!
Bring required items: warm clothing, SD fishing license, food/drinks, and any personal gear and enjoy your day on the ice!!!!
