About this trip
Spring Bear Hunts — Montana
Guided Spot-and-Stalk Black Bear Hunts
Broken Hart Adventures’ Spring Bear Hunts offer hunters the opportunity to pursue black bears during peak spring activity as they emerge from hibernation and feed aggressively on fresh green vegetation. These hunts focus on spot-and-stalk methods, glassing open hillsides, burns, meadows, and avalanche chutes for active bears.
Spring provides longer daylight hours, excellent visibility, and predictable bear movement, making it one of the most effective times of year to pursue mature black bears in Montana.
