For all cancellation groups that do not wish to book privately, a group of 4 hunters is required, and groups will be paired with another group of 4 hunters to complete the experience.

What to bring
WATERFOWL
Shotgun – We provide all our clients with the option of using our 12 gage Benelli Super Black Eagle III shotguns for
no additional cost. Do not haste with the transportation of your firearms.
Ammunition – We provide all our clients Ammunition for all waterfowl hunts. Only 12-gage ammunition is
provided. NO LEAD AMMUNITON
Winter Clothing – It can often be below freezing in the early mornings so please dress accordingly.
Waders – Although we ask our clients not to enter the water, many of our clients choose to bring their own waders
for warmth and comfort.
Waterproof Clothing – We highly recommend bringing waterproof boots and pants.
Eye Protection – We highly recommend brining a pair of sunglasses.
Hearing Protection – We provide disposable hearing protection, but if you would like to bring your own we highly
recommend electronic hearing protection such as Sound Gear.
UPLAND
Shotguns – We provide all our clients with the option of using our 12 gage Benelli Super Black Eagle III shotguns for
no additional cost. If you prefer to use a smaller gage of shotgun for upland feel free to bring your own.
Ammunition – All ammunition provided by River Lodge is in 12 gage. If you choose to bring your own gun of a
different caliber, make sure you bring your own ammunition. All ammunition must meet State and Federal
regulations. We recommend steel shot for all ammunition.
Upland Gear – Orvis Upland Vests are provided by us but feel free to pack your own gear.
Blaze Orange – The state of Nebraska requires all hunters must have an article of blaze orange clothing visible (hat,
coat, or vest)
Clothing – Waterproof boots, burr resistant pants, and a warm coat is what most of our hunters choose to wear on
their pheasant hunts.
MISCELLANEOUS
Toiletries – Make sure to pack all medications and personal items.
Lodge Clothing – Feel free to relax and enjoy the lodge. If you intend on using our workout facilities make sure to
pack an extra pair of running shoes and workout clothing.
Lodge Shoes – We suggest packing an extra pair of leisure shoes to wear around the lodge.
Coolers – We highly suggest bringing a Yeti cooler to transport your game back home.
Swimming Suit – Many of our guests choose to take advantage of our hot tubs after a long cold hunt.
