All hunts include expert guidance, lodging, meals, and all necessary gear. Whether you’re chasing your first gator or adding another trophy to the collection, this trip is built to give you a front-row seat to Louisiana’s wild side.

Alligator Hunt – $2,500 per person

Optional Crabbing Trip Add-On – $150 per person

Optional Night-Time Hog Hunt (2 Hours) – $250 per person

Experience the thrill of Louisiana after dark with a fully guided thermal and night vision hog hunt. Perfect for the evening before or after your alligator hunt, this add-on brings a whole new level of excitement and adventure.

This 2-hour experience is designed for both first-time night hunters and seasoned shooters. Every aspect is handled for you — from equipment setup to safety orientation — making it a seamless and adrenaline-filled addition to your Louisiana adventure.

Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrival

• 2:00 PM — Arrive at the lodge, unload, and settle in
• 3:00 PM — Set alligator lines with your guide (approx. 3 hours)
• 6:30 PM — Cajun dinner and refreshments
• Overnight lodging

Day 2 — Hunt Day

• 7:00 AM–10:30 AM — Morning alligator hunt
• Return to dock for cleaning and processing coordination
• Choose taxidermy or tanning options if desired

If you’d like meat, tenderized alligator can be purchased directly from the dock (prices vary)

• Afternoon rest or optional crabbing trip
• 5:00 PM — Dinner and overnight lodging
• Optional evening: Night-Time Hog Hunt Add-On (2 Hours)

Day 3 — Departure

• 7:00 AM–10:30 AM — Morning alligator hunt (if needed)
• 12:00 PM — Departure

Taxidermy, Tanning & Legal Guidelines

Please note that this hunt does not include taxidermy, tanning, meat, or any alligator products. The alligator’s head and hide are not included in your package and must be legally transferred to a licensed processor or taxidermist at your own expense if you wish to create any mounts, leather goods, or display pieces.

Taxidermy and tanning services are optional and billed separately, coordinated only through Scully’s Alligator Hunts to ensure all state and federal laws are followed. Under Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service regulations, all alligators must:

• Be properly tagged at the time of harvest
• Have their tag information recorded for transfer to a licensed taxidermist or tannery
• Not be sold, processed, or transported without correct tagging and documentation

Only a licensed taxidermist, processor, or tannery may receive, store, or alter an alligator hide or head. Scully’s will help facilitate this process to ensure your harvest remains compliant and professionally handled.

If you’d like to take home alligator meat, it can be purchased separately from the dock through a state-approved vendor. Prices vary depending on current market rate and availability.
