Add a guided morning wood duck hunt to your upland hunt with Horse Swamp Hunting Preserve & Kennels near Jacksonville, North Carolina. This experience is offered as an add-on only and must be purchased in combination with an upland hunt.
You’ll hunt managed swamp and timber habitat with a local guide who knows the flight lines, handles the decoy spread, and helps you stay ready for fast, low passes at first light. The hunt is private and works well for first-timers, youth hunters, and experienced callers—bring your own calling style if you prefer. After the hunt, we’ll assist with animal cleaning and you can keep the meat for the table.
