Double J Full day Inshore trip - Grande Isle

The Full Day Inshore Trip with Double J Sportfishing in Grande Isle, Louisiana is an exciting adventure for avid anglers or those new to the sport. The trip is an excursion on the waters of Louisiana's inshore fishing grounds, known for being home to a variety of fish species, including redfish, speckled trout, and sheepshead.

The trip starts early in the morning as you board the boat at 5:30 am and embark on a journey through the scenic waters of Grande Isle. The experienced captain and crew will provide you with all the necessary gear, including top-of-the-line fishing rods, reels, bait, and tackle, ensuring that you have everything you need to fill the box!

The focus of the trip is on inshore fishing, which means you will be fishing in shallow waters close to the shore, where the target species are known to be abundant. You will have the opportunity to catch a variety of fish, with redfish, speckled trout, and sheepshead being the primary targets.

What to bring

Please bring your own food and drink, but you don’t need to pack an ice chest as the caption provides a drink box on board.

In order to fish the waterways of Louisiana you must first purchase a Louisiana Fishing License. By clicking on the link below you can select to purchase a license based on your specific needs. 

License options include:

- Charter passenger (3 day) $20 residents/nonresidents (Valid to fish from a charter vessel in saltwater areas of the state, with a licensed guide on board at all times. This license is in lieu of Basic and Saltwater fishing licenses and is valid for three consecutive days. You must provide the charter guide’s license number or mothership license when you purchase a Charter Passenger License.)

You are not required to have Basic or Saltwater Fishing licenses if you are:

• A resident or nonresident under age 16 (i.e., age 15 and under)
• A resident born before June 1, 1940, who has lived in Louisiana for 6 months.
