About this trip
The Plaisted Camps Outcamp is a self-guided option on the Wheeler River for anglers who want to fish on their own schedule. Located about 15 kilometers off Highway 914 near Key Lake Mine north of Pinehouse, Saskatchewan, the outcamp offers access to extensive fishable water including Clubhouse Lake, North Lake, the Wheeler River, and the route toward Russell Lake.
Designed for independent groups, the outcamp offers cabin-only, cabin-and-boat, and cabin/boat/fuel options. Guests can pursue Northern Pike, Walleye, Lake Trout, and Arctic Grayling while enjoying a remote boat-in, drive-in/boat-in, or fly-in style adventure.
The cabin sleeps up to 6 fishermen and includes practical off-grid amenities such as propane appliances, basic kitchen equipment, a BBQ/outdoor cooker, and generator support depending on the package selected.
