Rules
Wyoming Fishing License Requirements
Anyone 14 years of age or older must possess a valid Wyoming fishing license to fish in state waters. Licenses are available online through the Wyoming Game and Fish Department website or from authorized license agents across the state.
License Options
Both residents and non-residents can purchase the following license types:
- Daily License
- 5-Day License
- Annual License
An additional Conservation Stamp is required for anglers purchasing an annual license.
Youth Licensing
Ages 14–18: Must purchase a Youth Fishing License.
Under 14: Do not need a license if fishing with a licensed adult. Any fish caught by the youth count toward the adult’s daily limit.
