Menu and web dashboard access

Overview
The mobile Menu gives outfitters and guides one place to reach both native mobile workflows and web dashboard tools from the app.
In the mobile app, this starts from screen_name: MainTabs, where Menu is one of the bottom tabs. Some Menu items open native mobile screens. Others open the Mallard Bay web dashboard in an in-app browser for workflows that are not fully native on mobile.
How Menu items open
Tap Menu from the bottom navigation in the mobile app.
The Menu may include dashboard navigation items based on your outfitter account, permissions, and available features. When you tap an item:
- If the app has a matching native mobile screen, Mallard Bay opens that mobile workflow.
- If the item is a dashboard-only workflow, Mallard Bay opens the web dashboard in the in-app browser.
- Web content may use
screen_name: WebViewwhen the app displays a URL inside the mobile experience.
This means you can still reach dashboard tools from the field without leaving the mobile app flow.
What to use from mobile
Use the Menu when you need to move from field work into account or dashboard tasks, such as reviewing settings, opening dashboard-managed tools, or continuing work that does not have a full native mobile screen.
For example, mobile supports individual client workflows through native client screens, while saved client lists or segments are managed in the web dashboard. Open the dashboard from the mobile Menu when you need to manage those saved client groups.
Notes
Menu content can vary by outfitter, role, feature access, and account setup. Some items may show feature status or locked indicators when access is limited.
For dashboard-only customer workflows, use the mobile Menu to open the web dashboard in the in-app browser rather than treating the workflow as unavailable on mobile.
