What This Is
Message templates are reusable email and SMS messages used for guest communication and follow-up. Automations use those templates to send messages based on booking, guest, or setup conditions.
In the Mallard Bay mobile app, template and automation setup is handled through the web dashboard.
Where To Manage Them
From the mobile app, open the Menu tab from MainTabs, then open the web dashboard option for the communication, templates, or automation workflow you need. The dashboard opens in the mobile app through WebView.
Use the dashboard to create, edit, or organize message templates and automations.
When To Use This In The Field
Use message templates and automations when you want consistent guest communication, such as quote follow-up, booking reminders, onboarding messages, or operational updates.
If you are working from the mobile app before or after a trip, use Menu to open the dashboard and make template or automation changes there.
